UKVA and Regional Associations

The SEVA is part of the United Kingdom Vineyards Association (UKVA), and is one of its six regional associations. All SEVA members automatically become members of the UKVA when they join. All members must be a member of one of the regional associations to join the UKVA. The SEVA covers the counties of Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London South.

The United Kingdom Vineyards Association (UKVA) is the organisation to which grape growers and winemakers belong in order to:

  • share information
  • have a voice in Westminster and Brussels
  • develop and promote their industry

The UKVA is the only organisation recognised by the government and the wider community as representing the English and Welsh wine industry. You can find more information about the UKVA at their website:

All SEVA members receive full benefits of belonging to the UKVA when they join. These benefits include receiving a copy of the industry magazine, the Grape Press, by post three times a year, as well as the full Pesticides Guide once a year, and the opportunity to join in the national email forum, where you can reach all other growers and producers who are signed up across the country and participate in topical discussion and exchanges of information.
