Details about the SEVA forum and archive :
The SEVA has its own members email forum. This works in a similar way to the UKVA email forum, so you can email messages, queries, and answers to all members of SEVA (who have elected to join it).
PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO POST TO THE FORUM UNLESS YOU ARE A SUBSCRIBED SEVA MEMBER AND SENDING FROM YOUR REGISTERED EMAIL ADDRESS.
It is a very useful and valuable resource to all our members. Members are automatically subscribed and the forum works as follows:
- All messages should be sent to seva@sevamail.org.uk, from here they will be sent out to everyone on the forum.
- Message size limit of 1MB please, but please keep emails as small as possible for everyone's benefit
- It helps if you state your vineyard and/or where you are based at the end of discussions because it enables others to place your comments in context.
- You can only send emails from the email address you have registered. If you have multiple email addresses, you must use the correct address to submit a message or ask me to register a second email address (although you will then get everything twice!).
- To leave the service, send an email to southeastvineyards@gmail.com (please include your name and vineyard)
Please note the following :
1. The email forum is for the benefit of SEVA members only. If a participant posts an item on behalf of a non-member, they will be asked to donate £50 to the SEVA;
2. Please do not post personal news items, not related to vineyards or wine making, in the forum.
3. SEVA members who provide services or products to vineyards and wineries should not place generic advertisements via the email forum. However, a limited number of timely special offers or announcements are acceptable. If in doubt please contact me before advertising.
4. Personal attacks and bad language will not be tolerated.
